Employee Spotlight: Meet Our Breakfast Queen, Sherrie Burke!

We’re lucky to have a whole royal lineup at All the Fixin’s—there’s our Pecan Queen, our Turtle Queen, and now our Breakfast Queen! Sherrie first crossed our path as a customer at our outdoor markets in downtown Twin City. She’d come for breakfast and always encouraged us to open our own shop (thanks for the push, Sherrie!). Fast-forward to the opening of our Swainsboro location, and she came on board, part-time, as the perfect breakfast cook. She’s been whipping up scrambled eggs, whisking grits, and effortlessly maneuvering pans in and out of the oven since the fall of 2022.

Sherrie’s our early bird, opening the Swainsboro store Wednesday through Saturday each week. But she does so much more than cook a great breakfast! She keeps our crew motivated, always offering a listening ear and even sharing her cosmetology skills when someone needs a fresh haircut. She loves to camp, nurture her plants, and dotes on her family—there’s never a dull moment in Sherrie’s world!

Today marks her bittersweet retirement. After a long career of hard work and plenty of prayers, she’s ready to hitch up the camper and head off on new adventures (with Michael’s blessing, of course!). We’re so thankful that All the Fixin’s could be the exclamation point on her amazing career. Sherrie has shared her tips, tricks, and sunny spirit with us all, and while we know no one can truly fill her shoes, her legacy will definitely live on in our kitchen.
