All the Fixin's Employee Spotlight: Jessica Polo, Store Manager + Turtle Queen

I first met Jessica when she placed my very first delivery order for Twin City! Back when I announced that I was offering coffee and lunch delivery within Twin City limits, Jessica jumped right in and ordered a hot latte. Hailing from Washington State, she was thrilled to find some of the conveniences of “city life” after moving to our small town.

Jessica and her daughters quickly became familiar faces, visiting the store regularly and crossing paths with me at rec department activities where her boys played on the same team as our kids. She wasn’t shy about expressing her interest in helping out at the shop if I ever needed it—and I admired her confidence. In the spring of 2022, she officially joined the Twin City team.

What a blessing that turned out to be! Our business grew rapidly in 2022, especially after expanding to our Swainsboro location. Jessica’s versatility shone as she split her time between the two locations, sometimes covering breakfast in Swainsboro and lunch in Twin City on the same day. Her dedication and work ethic quickly earned her a promotion to Assistant Manager, and soon after, she stepped into the role of Store Manager for Twin City.

Jessica manages the day-to-day operations of the café: teaming up with her “partner in crime,” Shelby (our Assistant Manager), this duo is unlike any other!! She also oversees our online and wholesale pecan orders. And let’s not forget—Jessica is the TURTLE QUEEN! Of the 10,000+ Ruckus Maker turtles we sold this year, Jessica has had her hands on the majority of them. She’s also dipped thousands of pralines with precision and care.

Jessica’s talents and personality make her an invaluable part of the All the Fixin’s team. When she’s not perfecting turtles or managing café operations, you might find her swaying to soulful R&B music, chasing her seven kids, or FaceTiming with her grandbaby. Strong, sassy, hardworking, and motivated, Jessica embodies everything we value in a leader.
